LGBTQ+ travel, where you belong.

As a gay man and frequent traveller, I know what it means to need more than a hotel that says it's welcoming. Every recommendation I make comes from personal experience and community knowledge.

My approach.

LGBTQ+ travel has grown enormously, and so has the gap between hotels that are genuinely welcoming and those that simply say they are. I know that difference because I travel myself and I'm part of this community.

Every hotel I recommend, I've stayed at or vetted through networks I trust. Every cruise line I work with, I understand its culture and its guests.

  • Personal vetting of every hotel: stayed there myself, or verified through trusted networks
  • Which destinations are safe and welcoming, and which need more care
  • LGBTQ+-specific hotels and resorts in Wilton Manors, Gran Canaria, Madrid, Mykonos and more
  • The difference between a hotel that's inclusive in culture and one that ticks a box
  • Accessibility always front of mind: I have experience looking after travellers with additional needs
  • No judgement, no assumptions, just service tailored to how you travel

Destinations I know well.

Madrid Spain

Chueca is one of Europe's great LGBTQ+ neighbourhoods: vibrant, safe and welcoming. I've stayed in Madrid many times; ME Madrid is a favourite.

Mykonos Greece

One of the most consistently welcoming islands in the Mediterranean, with extraordinary beaches and nightlife.

Wilton Manors Florida, USA

One of the most LGBTQ+-concentrated communities in the US. Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa is a standout; I've stayed several times.

Gran Canaria Spain

Maspalomas is one of Europe's great LGBTQ+ resorts. I've stayed at Seven Hotel & Wellness and at Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway Hotel.

Puerto Vallarta Mexico

One of Mexico's most celebrated LGBTQ+ destinations. I've stayed at Casa Cupula, with spectacular views of the bay.

West Hollywood California, USA

One of the world's most iconic LGBTQ+ neighbourhoods. Kimpton La Peer is an outstanding base, with IHG Destined benefits.

Barcelona Spain

Eixample is among the most vibrant urban LGBTQ+ neighbourhoods in Europe, in a city with a rich cultural calendar.

At sea Virgin Voyages

Adults-only and inclusive from the keel up, with drag cabaret, official LGBTQ+ meetups and a community that feels like home.

Hotels built for our community.

Beyond welcoming hotels, there are places designed for and by the LGBTQ+ community. These are ones I've stayed at or recommend with confidence.
